Dethlofhytten, build as a sign of gratification to a married couple who practicioned medicine in Øygarden and sought after the well being of the locals in late 19th century. The cabin is privately own, but the anyone is free to go there to witness the amazing coastal view.
There is an allocated spot to park next to the start line, but also some spots along the way.
As depicted here, a spot roughly 50 meters away to the trail start and a larger parking area. If this spot is available, might as well take it.
From where the car was parked, just follow the road further in to trail start.
The path to Dethloffhytten is on easy coastal terrain. After entering through the gate, follow the path to the West (to the ocean).
At the first sign post, follow the bearings to Dethloffhytten.
After a while, you will encounter a small patch of taller vegetation. The path splits up. Take the right path.
When you get to the last sign post, shortly after the forestry vegetation patch, you got two option. Go directly, or take a roundtrip and visit Kvitingsneset on the way. There are also a secluded spot furter in on the roadtrip with two outdoor bench/tables.
Here are some pictures along the roundtrip way.
When you are at Kvitingneset, you can clearly see the Dethloffhytten (off-camera to right). There is a trail that follows the shoreline. Eventually, you will link up with the direct route.
The cabin itself is private, but you can sit outside it and enjoy the view. It can be quite windy.
As always. Make sure to clean up after yourself (and if, your dog).
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
