With an amazing vista and a cozy cabin to spend the night, Kiellandbu is an icon. Low Risk- High Reward.
Kiellandbu, famous for its moderate hike from Hodnaberg Power Plant. Achievable for tourists with minimal hiking experience and seasoned alike.
At the end, an iconic open cabin for instaworthy pictures.
Parking accommodation for Kiellandbu from Hodnaberg Power Plant is quite good. There could easily be parked 50 cars there. Road direction in map section.
The start is also easy to find. A gravel road behind the power plant is the only trail to follow at the start.
When it branches into two paths, one continues further on, the other uphill to your left. Go left.
The only thing at the start you need to be cautious about is where to exit from the gravel road and enter the terrain. This will be on your right (on the uphill gravel road). There are signings which marks the trail.
Once you successfully made it to the terrain path, it´s quite easy to navigate and to know where to go.
As you are hiking, you will encounter a hanging bridge anchored with wires. The bridge is going to sway and bounce whenyou´re crossing, so only one should cross fully before another can be on the bridge.
The only part that can pose a difficulty for some hikers would be a pile of stones which could be challenging for one’s knee.
The final ascends to get to the ridge where Kiellandbu cabin is located is quite easy- as it´s not a direct ascend from the foot of the mountain, but longer and more gradual. Making for an amazing vista along the way.
At the summit of Kiellandbu there is an unlocked Instagram friendly cabin, which is available for anyone to enter(leave your shoes outside). However, if someone has booked it and taken residence, you cannot claim rights to entering the cabin for your Instagram shoot without their permission.
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
