Pyttane is actually a quite easy hike. Surrounded by a rather flat landscape, standing tall 346 meter. You can easily see the entire kingdom of islands outside Bergen, known as Øygarden Archipelago.
At the start, there is a small parking space, to accommodate 3-4 cars at max. However, it is possible to park in the ditch along the main road. There is but one path to the summit. Perfect for a short walk for the whole family, excellent if new to camping. The Northern tower is perfect for a BBQ all year round, given the weather allows it.
The summit of Pyttane is in a two fold. The Southern tower is elevated on higher ground. However, the Northern host a better view.
To West you can see Liatårnet, where it´s possible to cross over from the Southern Tower.
