Finding the allocated parking space for the hike can be a bit of a challenge. The start location comes abruptly on the left hand side (driving from Bergen), and is just suitable for a couple of vehicles.
If there aren't available space, you can ditch your car on the sides, and make sure it wont effect traffic.
The trail starts conveniently next to a large info sign behind the road, in the terrain (5 meters).
Terrain and navigation is fairly easy. Recommended gear is gore tex shoes with good grip, as there can be muddy areas, and that will compromise the grip.
The only thing to keep in mind is when you are close to the summit. Since the trail will lead you to the other side of the peak. Be careful not to venture too far out.
