What is The Right To Roam?

The Right to Roam

The right to roam is the foundation of the outdoor-life in Norway. Most notable on uncultivated land. However, there are some regulations which you are obliged to follow.

You cannot rig a tent any closer than 150m to the nearest habituated house or cabin, and can´t stay no longer than two consecutive days at the same location.

Some locations there are temporary limitations of camping, often due to drinking water. These locations are often close to a river. Always remember to check with the local official sites for information on whether or not you can camp there. There is no Right to Roam on cultivated land, with exception if the land is frozen or covered in snow. Then you can walk and ski on the land.

Cultivated Land

Cultivated land is not to be confused with “private zone”, which is the inner area close to the house or cabin. There are no fixed private zone. The safest option is to always to ask the land owner for permission.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
